Corporate Recruitng and T&D Specialist

ResourceTek is seeking a Corporate Recruiting and Training/Development Specialist performs all the daily job duties associated with the strategic and core areas of ensuring successful recruiting, interviewing, and screening top talent inside and outside of the organization. Define, design, develop and deliver company-wide training programs across all areas of our business – including hourly and salaried employees

Essential Duties:

Duties of the Corporate Recruiting and Training/Development Specialist can be further defined, but not limited to the following:

  • Perform full life cycle recruiting (Partnering with hiring managers and supervisors across the organization to determine staffing needs, carefully screening resumes, using role requirements and position logic, conduct phone screens with potential candidates, schedule interviews and communicating with the candidate, perform in-person and phone interviews with candidates, initiate candidate assessments and provide resulting to hiring management and supervisors, facilitate reference and background checks, schedule interviews with hiring teams, etc.)

  • Communicating employer information and providing a Benefit Brief during the screening process

  • Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved. Establish effective relationships throughout the organization and across business units/stakeholders to identify/address gaps in user training, with support and guidance from the Corporate HR Business Partner

  • Conduct training needs assessments across the organization – corporate, site and departmental levels. Administer and manage appropriate company assessments (cost control, advertisements, ad spend, etc.).

  • Design/develop appropriate interventions based on needs assessment and deliver ILT (Instructor Led Training) in support of various initiatives (Salaried and Hourly) and conduct training courses, employee webinars, on-site training, and user group sessions

  • Staying current on organizational structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices

  • Ensure that each locations Time to Fill is managed and kept current. Meet all business initiatives, KPI’s, goals and objectives as set by the Corporate HR Director and the Corporate HR Business Partner

  • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations and maintain strong relationships with external talent agencies

  • Working with HRIS and HR resources in completing timely reports on employment activity

  • Must be capable of working across all departments to identify, assess and address needs and have the ability to adapt/respond in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused HR/Business environment characterized by often rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities

  • Produce effective training presentations, tutorials, instructor and student guides, lesson plans/exercises in multiple media and formats suitable to course audiences

  • Create, review, and update training materials and documentation based on user feedback, classroom surveys, IT version updates, and IT support tickets

  • Must be willing to travel to other sites as necessary

  • Perform all other duties, as required

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 3+ years of experience in human resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)

  • 3+ years of proven and verifiable heavy recruiting experience (preferably recruiting for multiple sites/locations)

  • 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining courses within LMS (preferred)

  • Strong leadership, problem solving, oral presentation, technical writing, planning, and adult-learning/workforce teaching skills (required)

  • 4+ years advanced skills with all the latest Microsoft Office products (required)

  • Strong Knowledge of ATS systems, Captivate, or other web-based delivery tools

  • Manufacturing experience (highly preferred)

  • Broad understanding of all HR functions

  • Full-Life Cycle recruiting/onboarding experience (required)

  • Excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and keen understanding of business leader’s needs.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as be self-directed and work independently.

  • Strong instructional design experience (required)

  • Robust content development skills (required)

  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in existing HR Recruiting / Talent Acquisition and work with the CHRBP in developing validated solutions to correct inefficiencies.
