Senior HRIS Analyst


ResourceTek is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to assist with the implementation of the Infor Human Capital Management (HCM) system as well as facilitate the ongoing enhancements and maintenance to the system. The ideal candidate will aid in the development and implementation of our customer’s new HRIS system as well as maintain existing HR systems/processes. The individual will also be responsible for reviewing data input and output reporting for accuracy and ensuring the HR system interfaces appropriately with the other business units (i.e. Finance, IT, Operations).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain employee data in an HRIS system.

  • Formulate, recommend, and implement solutions, often in a critical timeframe.

  • Project implementation support requiring full project life cycle (requirements, estimates, design, development, testing, and implementation).

  • Functional test development, execution and documentation; provide timely sign-off to promote configuration/coding changes to the production environment along with managing customer expectations around these items.

  • Cross-functional collaboration with other internal functional teams (Finance, Operations, IT) to analyze, identify and resolve issues, design enhancements, or maintain various company HRIS systems.

  • Identify, own and drive process improvement initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence and eliminate waste.

  • Monitor and improve data collection and reporting procedures for efficiency.

  • Effective time management and prioritization of ServiceNow HR case requests, e-mails, project deliverables, and other escalated items.

  • Create, reference, and maintain knowledge articles in knowledge management tool.

  • On-call availability after normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. EST) in support of payroll processing or other HR system issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 2+ years of experience in support and/or configuration of HR Management Systems, with emphasis on data management/analysis, requirements gathering and project implementation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Infor CloudSuite HCM experience or experience with another cloud-based HRIS solution.

  • Experience with testing, test script development and testing tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word).

  • Experience supporting users at all organizational levels and adept at designing new functionality for customers and stakeholders.

  • General understanding of the Human Resource data to create operational reporting and create operational analytics for business units.

  • Previous HR, Financials, and Payroll experience

 

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience.

  • Experience managing HR related aspects of projects such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, tax restructures, etc.

  • Cloudsuite/Mingle administration and configuration experience.

  • Infor/Lawson knowledge in as many of the following as possible:

Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and keen understanding of user adoption/ experience a must.

  • Excellent writing skills to document HRIS policies and processes.

  • HR business process knowledge and ability to work closely with both business and IT resources.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as be self-directed and work independently.

  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in existing Human Resource/Payroll processes and develop a solution to correct those inefficiencies.
