Job Description: ResourceTek is the Human Capital division of BWSC, Inc., a multi-discipline Engineering firm. We specialize in providing technical services to industry and government in all areas of Engineering, Information Technology, and a broad range of other Technical disciplines. In support of our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of steel products, we are seeking an Automation Software Developer to support their large manufacturing facility in North Eastern Arkansas. This is a contract assignment with a duration of 6+ months, possibly longer. Automation Software Developer This position is dedicated mainly to implement the function of Process Control and Data interchange. The main tasks for this position consist on the data acquisition of the process, data visualization, process control and historical storage of variables and events. Job Requirements: Main Tasks are: Human Machine Interface Acquisition and Classification of Process Data Product pursuit Pursuit of Material Process Monitoring Mathematical Models of the Process Advanced control of Process (Genetic Algorithms, Neuronal Networks, Expert Systems, Intelligent Vision, etc) Statistical Process Control (SPC) Alarms and Events Operative procedures definition Registries of Quality of the Product Generation of reference values associated with the quality as well as operation commands. Interface with specialized instrumentation as chemical analyzers, scales or measurement equipment. Team working skills High English communication skills are required (speaking, writing and reading) Requirements Requirements/Skills: 5+ years experience Able to coordinate a small group of people Programming Languages: C#, C, C++, ASP.Net Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Database design. Languages SQL, Transact SQL Database servers: SQL Server. Scada and OPC Knowledge Communication protocols: TCP/IP, ControlNet, EtherNet/IP Network Basic knowledge. Regulation Control Computer operating systems: Windows 2003 Server / Windows XP
