Assembly Technician


ELECTRONIC MANUFACTURING ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN:


 

Required to work from and understand drawings, assembly notes, schematics, or verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.


 

Performs any combination of following tasks to assemble electromechanical parts and equipment: subassemblies, cables, products or systems, crimping terminals, sockets, pins, screws, bolts, rivets. Experienced in hand soldering or performing similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools and power tools; such as torque screwdrivers and ratchets.


 

Work closely with the Manufacturing Manager, regarding production problems or issues to ensure a quick resolution.


 

Must be proficient in use of test and measuring equipment to include; calipers, voltmeter, etc… as required.


 

ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE JOB IS CRITICAL!!!!


 

Must have the ability to work with little or no supervision for majority of tasks.


 

Assemble product per drawing, written or verbal instructions


 

 


 

Work must be neat/correct


 

 


 

Excellent Quality


 

 


 

Be punctual at all times


 

Must be knowledgeable of all ISO procedures that pertain to this position.


 

Assist with all other tasks and projects as directed by management.


 

Prefer Associates degree in electronics and minimum of 5 years of experience.
