Paint Engineering Specialist

In support of our client, a supplier of automotive parts and accessories, we are seeing a Paint Engineering Specialist to join their Manufacturing team in Adairsville, GA. This is a direct hire, permanent opportunity.

In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with the paint responsibilities for new and existing project lines, specifically for Resin based items. Products produced include items such as automotive splash guards, under protectors, kick plates and roof racks.

Ideal candidates will have the following experience in the following Key areas:

  • Experience as Painter and Coating Worker.

  • Profound knowledge of coating methods, techniques, devices and materials.

  • In-depth ability to use tools and equipment such as scrapers, wire brushes, putty knives, sandpaper, paint brushes, rollers, and spray guns.

  • Uncommon knowledge of mixing and thinning paints, varnishes, and rust preventing materials.

  • Excellent ability to clean and maintain tools and painting equipment.

  • Previous experience in the automotive industry is a major plus.

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with others in self-directed work teams to achieve results/goals.
